The Equisense team loves this time of the year and we would love to share our passion with you 🤪. 🤪. So to do so, we’ve come up with some fun training exercises for you to train on! 🎄

An Equisense Christmas 😍

Table des matières

Exercise #1 – Christmas star ⭐️

Exercise #2 – Christmas tree 🎄

Exercise #3 – Christmas balls

Exercise #4 – Christmas garland

Exercise #1 – Christmas star ⭐️

Let’s get started with an easy one! To set it up, you will need: 10 poles 😇 From there, you only have to set them up in the shape of a star.

It’s an easy exercise: Go over one extremity of the star to an other one by doing a small cercle in between. Depending on the poles and their positions, you may go over as normal ground poles or as bounce jumps.

You may also set them up as small cavalettis which is a great directional training.

Use your Equisense Motion S to make sure you keep the same cadence all along the exercise! Here a nice video of Victor Levecque training on the Christmas star:

Exercise #2 – Christmas tree 🎄

This is more of a dressage training exercise but you’ll still require some poles for it (about 14 of them)!

The idea is as follows: Go down the first corridor at walk, then leg-yield down to the next corridor, walk straight, then leg yield and so until the last corridor. Walk from the last corridor to the the other one set at the bottom and perform the same exercise going up.

Use your Equisense Motion S to make sure you keep the same cadence all along the exercise! You’ll need to perform a series of 20m circle at trot and 5m circle at walk.

For experienced horses, you can even replace the small circle by a pirouette or a circle with haunches in.
